Campaign Story

We are Kelci and Jordan, two moms in high hopes of one day having a baby!  Kelci is an independent music artist and vocal teacher and Jordan is also a music artist as well as a security guard! Kelci and Jordan found each other through music but stayed for the love!

We are more than just life partners, we are a family. And as we prepare to say I do and step into life as a married couple, there is one dream that plays louder than all the others and that’s becoming parents.

Our path hasn’t always been easy. Jordan comes from a background where her identity wasn’t always embraced. But in the midst of that silence, she found a new belonging with Kelci’s family. This journey toward motherhood is our way of expanding that circle of love. We want to take the kindness, the acceptance, and the resilience we’ve learned and pass it down to a child of our own.

We have decided on a path called Reciprocal IVF. In a beautiful act of partnership, Jordan will be the carrier for my (Kelci’s) eggs. This means Jordan will literally carry a piece of her wife to be, bringing our child into the world through a shared biological bond.

While our hearts are ready, the financial fee for this process is steep. Between the medical procedures, the medications, and the legal steps required for a lesbian couple to ensure their child is protected, the costs are overwhelming for two independent artists.

We aren’t just trying to have a baby we are trying to build a legacy. We want to raise a child who knows that love is something you fight for, that family is something you choose, and that your voice matters.
Every donation, no matter the size, is a note in the song of our child’s life. Your support will go directly toward:

The IVF medical cycles and embryo transfer.
Fertility medications.
Legal fees to protect our growing family.
